Job summary

Bupa Aged Care, at St Ives, is seeking a Care Manager to lead the day-to-day clinical operations and the care home clinical team. You will coach staff, manage allocations, review incidents, and ensure governance and compliance for high-quality resident care.

The role emphasises person-centred planning, teamwork with families and allied health, and continuous professional development within a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA is essential.
• Post grad qualification in aged care highly regarded.
• Experience managing a minimum of 30 beds.
• Proven track record delivering quality clinical care within aged care or acute settings.
• Excellent clinical assessment skills and care planning capabilities.
• Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily clinical operations of the care home.
• Lead the care home clinical team including coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management and education.
• Review clinical incidents, complaints, and changes.
• Lead compliance with AN ACC assessments.
• Manage person-centred care planning and evaluation for residents including families and carers.
