Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Care Manager for the Eastern Suburbs Melbourne VIC area. The role covers clinical governance, staff management, AN-ACC and resident care.

You will develop, monitor and evaluate nurse care plans, perform comprehensive assessments, and ensure adherence to aged care standards while mentoring RNs and PCWs. The position is full-time within a not-for-profit care group with strong development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA
• Experience as Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader in aged care
• Infection Prevention and Control qualification is desirable
• Knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes (AN-ACC)
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities for RNs and PCWs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:* Commitment to ensuring the delivery of high quality and personalised care to all resident* Knowledge of the aged care sector, standards* Sound understanding of processes needed to respond to clinical and quality audits using the principles of continuous improvement.* Developing, monitoring and implementing nurse care plans + assessing, planning and evaluating existing care plans* Performing comprehensive assessments and investigating issues and incidents* Participating in and ensuring all compliance is adhered to in accordance with aged care standards and Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.* Actively supervising, training, and mentoring all RNs and PCWs**About You**The successful candidate must meet the following criteria:* Current Nursing Registration with AHPRA* Experience within Aged Care Sector as a Senior Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse Leader (desirable)* Infection Prevention and Control Qualification (desirable)* Demonstrated working knowledge of current aged care standards, accreditation and auditing processes, and AN-ACC* Personal and professional commitment to delivering high quality care, the development of yourself and your staff, and the overall continuous improvement of the home* Solid leadership skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)* Complete a police check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement**About this location:**Charlesbrook, a 70-bed residential aged care facility located near the surrounds of Templestowe.
