Job summary

Bupa Ballina is seeking a friendly hospitality helper to support catering, cleaning and laundry across our 123-bed care home in Ballina, NSW. You will work with our team to deliver meals, keep residents comfortable, and help maintain a clean, safe living environment.

Previous catering or cleaning experience is preferred but not essential. A team player with good communication and a flexible approach to shifts across the week will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Team player with good interaction with residents.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain legislated workplace health and safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Complete required documentation and reporting.
• Respond to residents' queries and requests.
• Laundry duties including washing, drying, sorting, ironing.
• Catering/food service duties including basic food prep, serving meals and snacks, dining area cleaning.
• Cleaning duties including cleaning, mopping, vacuuming, waste disposal in residents' areas.
