Job summary

Regis is seeking a maintenance professional in Queensland to keep facilities safe, well maintained, and efficient for residents, staff and visitors. The role covers day‑to‑day maintenance, preventative tasks and contractor coordination in a care environment.

You will work to high safety standards, manage priorities, and support a positive resident experience. Flexible shifts and opportunities for career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance or a similar role.
• Practical skills across building, repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to manage priorities, work orders and respond to issues promptly.
• Understanding of safety, compliance and safe work practices.
• Strong communication skills and a customer‑focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and problem‑solve effectively.

Responsibilities

• Keep the home safe, well‑maintained and running smoothly through day‑to‑day maintenance and repairs.
• Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance, manage work orders and contractors.
• Ensure the environment remains safe, tidy and comfortable for residents, staff and visitors.
• Play an important role in supporting a positive resident experience.
