Job summary

Mpower is seeking compassionate Residential Support Workers to assist children and young people in our Out of Home Care homes in Warrnambool, Victoria. You will provide safe, consistent and person-centred support, helping youths develop life skills and independence.

Join a dedicated team with opportunities for training, career progression and a commitment to trauma-informed care. This permanent role involves a 24/7 roster, including evenings and weekends, based in South West Victoria.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting children and young people in Out of Home Care homes
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, routines and skill development
  • Supporting social inclusion, community participation and independence
  • Building positive and respectful relationships
  • Responding to behaviours of concern using therapeutic and person-centred approaches
  • Completing accurate documentation and case notes
  • Working across a 24/7 roster, including evenings, weekends, sleepovers, active nights and public holidays as required
  • This is a hands‑on role that requires confidence, adaptability and a genuine commitment to supporting others.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide safe, consistent and person-centred support across our Out of Home Care and Disability Services programs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children and young people in Out of Home Care homes
