Job summary

Kingfisher House Care Home is a purpose built 77 bed care home located in Perth, offering Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care. This Care Assistant role supports daily living, follows care plans and helps residents feel respected and valued. Training and ongoing development are provided, with days and night shifts available.

We welcome both experienced carers and newcomers to care, highlighting teamwork and compassionate, person-centered approaches in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility and nutrition.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, dignified and person-centered care.

Job description

Kingfisher House Care Home is a purpose built 77 bed care home located in Perth, set in a stunning riverside location on the banks of the River Tay. Providing Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care, the home offers a modern and well supported environment where team members can develop their skills, work as part of a strong team and make a meaningful difference every day.

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.60 per hour
• Full time and part time contracts available, up to 38.5 hours per week
• Dayshift and Nightshift available
• Paid PVG pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.

You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
