Sandmere Care Home in Kent is seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to support residents with daily living, personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing. You will follow care plans and work as part of a friendly team to deliver high quality, person-centred care that preserves dignity and independence.

Experience is welcome but not essential; we offer full training and ongoing development, with a supportive environment and a secure, respectful workplace where relationships matter.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with daily living, including personal care and mobility.
• Support nutrition, hydration and emotional wellbeing according to care plans.
• Follow care plans and report changes in residents' condition.
• Contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care with a positive environment.
• Create a warm, respectful atmosphere where residents feel valued.

A purpose-built care home located in the heart of the Margate community in Kent. Our 68-bed luxury service provides exceptional levels of Residential Care, Nursing Care, Dementia Care, and Respite Care

Care Assistant Contract

• £13.03 per hour
• Contracted to 34.5 hours per week
• Paid DBS pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As a Care Assistant, you will make a meaningful difference in our residents lives everyday. This role is central to delivering high quality, person centred care that supports dignity, independence and overall wellbeing.
You will support individuals with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing, helping them feel comfortable, respected and valued. By following care plans and recognising changes in condition, you will contribute to safe, responsive and consistent care.
Working as part of a supportive team, you will help create a warm and positive environment where relationships matter and people feel truly cared for. This opportunity is open to both experienced carers and those new to care, with full training, guidance and ongoing development provided to support your journey.
