Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking a Level 2 Research Nurse based at The Alfred in Melbourne to support the Cardiothoracic & Transplantation Department. The role focuses on coordinating trials, liaising with senior clinicians, and helping drive research outputs.

You will approach patients for trial enrolment, conduct telephone follow-ups, and assist with in-person visits. APHRA registration and GCP experience are essential, with a fixed-term part-time arrangement.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Experience coordinating clinical research and trials within Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
• Clinical trial research experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate single site and multicentre trials.
• Provide progress reports and participate in regular meetings to discuss project objectives, methodology and outcomes.
• Participate in team meetings and activities.
• Maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
