Job summary

SA Health is offering a part-time, fixed-term Research Assistant role within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network at Lyell McEwin Hospital. You will support cardiology research, handle data collection, recruitment, and documentation, and work within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science or equivalent, with expertise in research methods and Good Clinical Practice. Employment is until 16 November 2028 with pro rata salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience or academic exposure to clinical or health research methods.
• Solid understanding of research ethics, confidentiality, and Good Clinical Practice principles.
• Strong attention to detail with confident data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on research support for cardiology projects.
• Assist with data collection, entry, and quality checking.
• Coordinate participant recruitment, consent, and follow-up per ethical approvals.
• Maintain records and contribute to regulatory and ethics documentation.
• Support literature reviews and project reporting.
