Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Ward 2D—Cardiology, Coronary Care and Respiratory at Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. The role is a temporary full-time position until 18 June 2027, with a roster that includes weekends and night shifts to cover demanding cardiology and respiratory care.

You will care for adult patients with medical, cardiac, and respiratory conditions, working within a supportive multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality health care

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with Division 1 eligibility (AHPRA).
• Demonstrates interpersonal, verbal and written skills.
• Maintains clinical knowledge and problem solving ability.
• Commitment to excellence in nursing practice and ongoing development.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team and understand RN ethics.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult patients across Medical, Cardiac and Respiratory presentations.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver care.
• Adhere to NSW Health policies and immunisation requirements.
• Participate in weekend and night shift rosters as required.
