Job summary

NSW Health in Orange, NSW is seeking a Cardiac Technologist Grade 2 for a temporary full-time role (7 Dec 2026 – 21 Nov 2027) within the Cardiology team. Work 38 hours weekly in a 22-bed ward and a 12-bed interventional lab, contributing to angiograms, angioplasties and pacemaker insertions.

About the role

Join Orange Health Service's dynamic Cardiology team and play a vital role in managing cardiovascular disease while contributing to the development of an exciting new pacemaker insertion service. Working within a supportive multidisciplinary team, you'll collaborate closely with cardiologists, cardiac advanced trainees, nurse leaders, educators, radiographers, and rehabilitation specialists to deliver exceptional patient care across the district.

This unique 1 FTE opportunity offers the chance to be involved in the establishment of a new pacemaker insertion service operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while providing continuity of care for cardiac patients throughout their healthcare journey.

Based within a 22-bed Cardiology Ward and working alongside the 12-bed Interventional Cath Lab, you'll experience a fast-paced and rewarding environment where cutting-edge technology meets compassionate care. From angiograms and angioplasties to pacemaker and stent insertions, you'll be part of a highly skilled team delivering life‑changing outcomes for patients every day.
