Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking qualified Cardiac Physiologists/Radiographers to join the Cardiac Physiologist team at RNSH Cardiology EPS/Echo Lab. Casual appointments are available, with criteria including a science degree and postgraduate sonography qualifications, and experience in ECG, Holter, stress testing and EPS/Echo lab work.

Applicants should be able to work independently in the Echo and/or EPS Laboratory, with immunisation requirements noted for NSW Health Category A

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) and a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience with ECG, Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, Tilt Table Testing, Cardiac Catheterisation or Pacing/AICD follow-up.
• Independently able to work in Electrophysiology Laboratory and/or Echocardiography Laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database service on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
• Perform haemodynamic recording and monitoring.
• Perform physiological measurements and analysis.
• Provide cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required.

Successful applicants will be residing locally (overseas candidates wont be considered unless there is a valid working visa), have experience and be able to work independently in either the Echo and/or EPS Laboratory with a qualification or equivalent. What you'll be doing

• Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database service on an in-patient and out-patient basis.

• Providing cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Hold a bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer and performs Cardiac Sonography or Electrophysiological Studies (EPS).
• Experience with - ECG, Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, Tilt Table Testing, Cardiac Catheterisation or Pacing/AICD follow-up.
• Independently able to work in Electrophysiology Laboratory and/or Echocardiography Laboratory.
