Job summary

A health service provider in Sydney is seeking a casual Cardiac Physiologist to provide clinical diagnostic services in the cardiology department. Candidates should have a science degree and relevant experience in ECGs, Holter Monitoring, and stress testing. This position offers a competitive casual remuneration between $37.04 - $52.83 per hour.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Science degree (preferably health science) or equivalent.
• Independent in identifying and interpreting 12-Lead ECGs (normal and abnormal).
• Experience in ECGs, Holter Monitors, Stress Testing and Tilt Table Testing.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterisation & Cardiac Devices.

An exciting opportunity exists at a tertiary teaching hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, within the Cardiology Department for casual Grade 1 Cardiac Physiologists to join an experienced and dedicated team. The successful applicants will ideally have experience in the recording of electrocardiograms (ECGs), 24 hour Holter Monitoring, Exercise Stress Testing, Tilt Table Testing, Cardiac Catheterisation laboratory and Cardiac Devices.

Successful candidate must have completed a science degree preferably health science.

Salary is in accordance with the Health Employees Cardiac Technologist Grade 1 Award.

What You'll Be Doing

Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database service on an in-patient and out-patient basis.

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates Will Need To Meet The Following Criteria

• Completion of a Science degree (preferably health science) or equivalent.
• Are you independent in identifying and interpreting 12-Lead ECGs (normal and abnormal) and analysing rhythm?
• Do you have relevant experience in ECGs, Holter Monitors, Stress Testing and Tilt Table Testing?
• Do you have relevant experience in Cardiac Catheterisation &/or Cardiac Devices?
