Job summary

Northern Sydney Local Health District is seeking casual Cardiac Physiologists/Radiographers to join the Echo and EPS Lab teams. The positions require a bachelor degree and postgraduate Sonography qualifications, with experience in ECG and related cardiac testing.

Roles are based at RNSH Cardiology EPS/Echo Lab, offering flexible casual shifts and opportunity to work independently in designated labs within NSW Health. Immunisation and compliance requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) and holds a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer and performs Cardiac Sonography or Electrophysiological Studies (EPS).
• Experience with ECG, Holter Monitoring, Stress Testing, Tilt Table Testing, Cardiac Catheterisation or Pacing/AICD follow-up.
• Independently able to work in Electrophysiology Laboratory and/or Echocardiography Laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical cardiology diagnostic and database service on an in-patient and out-patient basis.
• Perform haemodynamic recording and monitoring.
• Perform physiological measurements and analysis.
• Provide cardiac technical troubleshooting on equipment as required.

RNSH Cardiology is seeking qualified/trained Casual Cardiac Physiologists/Radiographers to join an experienced, dedicated and passionate Cardiac Physiologist team. Successful applicants will be residing locally (overseas candidates wont be considered unless there is a valid working visa), have experience and be able to work independently in either the Echo and/or EPS Laboratory with a qualification or equivalent.

What You'll Be Doing
