Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Inpatient Unit at Sydney Children's Hospital Network in Westmead. You will deliver safe, family‑centred care to paediatric patients across neonates to adolescents with congenital, inherited, or acquired heart disease.

The role offers a 12‑hour flexible roster for full or part time staff, with a base salary range of 81,748.17 to 114,771.98 AUD plus_superannuation, leave loading and salary packaging where applicable.

The Cardiac Inpatient Unit at the Children's Hospital at Westmead is a dynamic ward caring for neonates, infants, children, and adolescents with congenital, inherited and acquired heart disease. The provision of care extends from day catheter procedures to complex open heart surgeries, arrhythmias, transplantation and ventricular assist devices.

Paediatric cardiac development opportunities are available to staff new to paediatrics and cardiology. A 12-hour flexible roster pattern is available for full and part time staff

The Registered Nurse provides safe, compassionate, person-centred care to patients and families of Sydney Children's Hospital Network.
The Registered Nurse acts as a role model by demonstrating behaviour and interacting with patients, their families and employees in a way that promotes a culture and standard that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness , Respect and Empowerment.
