Calvary Adelaide Hospital has an exciting opportunity to work in a busy Cardiac Care Unit in a state-of-the-art hospital. We are a unique Cardiac Care Unit offering flexible rostering and a supportive team culture focused on patient care and safety.

The successful applicant will be a Registered Nurse with APHRA, with a minimum of 3 years cardiac experience, and an interest in pursuing the Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Nursing.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with APHRA (nursing registration)
• Minimum of 3 years Cardiac Experience
• Willingness to undertake Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Nursing

Responsibilities

• Team Leader role in Cardiac Unit
• Precepting/mentoring of junior staff and students
• Assist manager with staffing issues and staff support
• Acting in manager role as required
• Contribute to quality improvement projects/portfolios
