Job summary

Autosports Group in New South Wales is seeking a Car Detailer to join the Service team and preserve a premium presentation of vehicles for delivery and showroom display.

You will vacuum, shampoo, steam clean interiors, wash, wax, and buff exteriors while upholding brand quality and safety standards in a busy dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Previous vehicle detailing experience preferred.
• Strong eye for detail and pride in workmanship.
• Able to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
• Valid driver’s licence required.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for client base including vacuuming, shampooing, and steam cleaning interiors, washing, waxing and buffing; cleaning and polishing windows, mirrors, and chrome trims.
• Ensure vehicles are ready for customer delivery and showroom display.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area.
• Collaborate with dealership team to meet deadlines and improve processes.
• Identify and report cosmetic issues to maintain brand standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional detailing environment.
• Ensure premium presentation of vehicles aligns with the brand.
• Adhere to manufacturer guidelines, workplace safety standards, and dealership processes.
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Service, and Delivery teams to meet deadlines.

About The Role:

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Car Detailer to join our Service team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality, ensuring vehicles are presented and maintained to a premium standard.

In this role you will:

• Prepare new and used vehicles for our valued client-base, including vacuuming, shampooing, and steam cleaning the interior of vehicle and washing, waxing, and buffing; cleaning and polishing windows, mirrors, and chrome trims

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Previous experience in vehicle detailing (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of various detailing products, tools, and techniques is advantageous
