Job summary

Venues NSW seeks an experienced Capital Works Manager to lead infrastructure and capital works across our Sydney venue portfolio.

You will oversee a team of Project Managers, coordinate external consultants, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget with strong governance and reporting.

This client-side role offers exposure to major venues, collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and a clear path for career development in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in project management, construction or capital works.
• Experience managing projects through full lifecycle.
• Experience working client-side or in consultancy environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple capital works projects across the portfolio.
• Manage design development, procurement, and delivery from planning to handover.
• Develop and manage programmes, budgets, milestones and delivery strategies.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and opportunities.
• Ensure delivery within timeframes, budgets and quality requirements.
