Job summary

George Weston Foods Limited is seeking a Maintenance Manager for the Wetherill Park site to lead the maintenance team, ensure safety, reliability, and continuous improvement. You will manage budgets, coordinate with the site leadership, and drive proactive maintenance practices in a food processing environment.

The role involves hands-on leadership, planning, and collaboration with contractors to uphold quality and food safety standards across the facility.

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification (Required).
• Maintenance experience in a food processing or industrial environment (Desired).
• Leadership experience (Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager).
• Strong contractor management, procurement and stakeholder communication skills.
• Self-led and motivated to advance your maintenance career.

Responsibilities

• On-the-tools Monday to Friday dayshift with one direct report covering afternoon shift.
• Plan, schedule and manage work orders in MEX with focus on reliability and minimizing downtime.
• Respond to breakdowns with urgency and prioritise work.
• Direct and coach teams, ensuring QA and HSE compliance.
• Lead site capital projects and investments.
