Job summary

PLS seeks a Capital Accountant to lead asset lifecycle, capital project accounting and ERP-based cost tracking from our West Perth base. You will collaborate with Project, Operations and Finance teams to ensure accurate capitalization and reporting.

The role requires CA/CPA qualifications and strong capital accounting experience in a corporate setting; Pronto/ERP exposure is desirable. This is a full-time Perth-based position with a focus on governance and month-end deliverables.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented finance professional with capital accounting and fixed assets experience.
• CA or CPA qualified, with a degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline.
• Experience with ERP systems; Pronto experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fixed asset lifecycle including creation, transfers, depreciation and disposals.
• Record, value and report on capital projects with timely capitalization.
• Monitor CWIP balances and align costs with budgets and governance.
• Review Authorisations for Expenditure ensuring delegated authority compliance.
• Create and maintain capital projects in the ERP system for cost tracking.
• Prepare month-end information for audits and ad hoc requests with teams.
