Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia invites applications for a Project Engineer to support capital projects that enhance reliability, efficiency and long-term sustainability of operations. You will coordinate projects from concept to completion, ensuring safe delivery on time and within budget, while collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams.

This role offers exposure to diverse engineering projects and a supportive team environment, with responsibilities spanning budgeting, reporting

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or related Engineering discipline.
Experience delivering engineering, maintenance or capital projects in industrial manufacturing or processing.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
Effective communication and stakeholder engagement across teams.
Commitment to workplace health, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of capital projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
Coordinate project activities, including contractor management, scheduling, documentation and reporting.
Work closely with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades and asset improvement initiatives.
Assist with project budgeting, cost tracking, risk management and capital expenditure reporting.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance reliability, operational performance and workplace safety.
