Job summary

Toll Group is seeking a Capability Innovation and Efficiency Manager to lead the national Capability Innovation and Efficiency Program across Defence Theatre Logistics warehousing operations. You will drive continuous improvement, innovation and capability development, influencing senior stakeholders and delivering technology and process improvements.

This is a strategic leadership role with a focus on safety, compliance and performance across a national network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, engineering or warehouse operations, including senior leadership responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience delivering warehouse optimisation, automation and technology-enabled improvements.
• Demonstrated capability managing programs, budgets, suppliers and operational risks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership and influencing skills across complex environments.
• Proven track record delivering measurable improvements in safety, efficiency, compliance and operational performance.
• Australian Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Defence Security Clearance.

• Drive warehouse process standardisation, facility optimisation and operating model improvements across multiple sites.

• Oversee the national material handling equipment (MHE) portfolio, including lifecycle planning, utilisation and performance management.
• Partner with Defence, operational leaders and functional stakeholders to deliver sustainable business outcomes and change initiatives.

• Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma Green Belt certification (or higher).
• Australian Citizenship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Vetting Agency Defence Security Clearance.
