Job summary

Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Cancer Care Pharmacist – Education & Training to lead the development of knowledge and skills within the cancer care pharmacy workforce. You will design and coordinate structured education programs and provide mentorship to staff, ensuring competencies align with professional standards.

You will combine educational expertise with hands-on clinical pharmacy practice to support safe, evidence-based cancer treatment and oversee cytotoxic production

Qualifications

• Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy.
• Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA.
• Grade 3 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational initiatives and combine educational expertise with clinical practice to support safe, evidence-based cancer treatment.
• Design, coordinate and evaluate structured education programs including cytotoxic production orientation, clinical verification accreditation, preceptorship and clinical trial training.
• Provide supervision, mentorship and competency-based learning aligned with development needs and professional standards.
• Maintain current education resources, competencies, policies and procedures covering cancer therapies, supportive care and investigational products.

What you need
