Job summary

Icon Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team on a major $80M education project, based in ACT with relocation to Canberra. You will support delivery from construction through to handover, working with experienced project and site teams on coordination, documentation and reporting.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will help manage subcontractors, track progress and ensure timely close-out. This role offers strong career development within a national contractor.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience in a Project Coordinator/Engineer, Contract Administrator or similar role.
• Experience on commercial, education, government or institutional projects valued from $50M+.
• Experience supporting finishes, fit-out, commissioning or project completion activities.
• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively within a project team.
• Understanding of construction contracts, project controls and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Support project delivery from construction through to completion.
• Assist with coordination, subcontractor management, documentation, reporting and close-out activities.
• Work with project and site teams to gain exposure to finishes, fit-out and handover processes.
