Job summary

Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade (DFAT) is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to join a dedicated delivery team in Canberra, onsite five days a week where possible. You will design, configure and develop Salesforce solutions, collaborating with business analysts and testers to ensure quality releases.

The role requires 3+ years of Salesforce development, strong governance and CI/CD expertise, and current NV1 security clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years in performing Salesforce development.
Experience to design, build and deliver enterprise level integrated solutions and follow Salesforce best practices.
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I and Omni Studio Developer/ Consultant.
Minimum current/active NV1 security clearance.

Responsibilities

Participate in planning/analysis of business requirements for system changes and enhancements.
Remain current with Salesforce technologies and best practices.
Translate application designs into functional configurations and code, in line with development and configuration standards.
Support quality assurance and release management operations to ensure artefacts can be properly tested and deployed.
Produce design, solution and technical documentation as required by the project.
