Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking a Virtual Data Centre Systems Administrator to support mission-critical programs in the Geospatial domain. This on-site role in Canberra involves administering Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments, delivering Level 2/3 support, and ensuring reliability and security of virtualised infrastructure.

You will work with customers and cross‑functional teams, applying scripting in PowerShell or Python and leveraging MECM, VMware vSphere, and App‑V to optimise

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux (RHEL) and/or Windows Server environments in enterprise or secure operational settings.
• Capability in virtual server administration and related technologies (VMware vSphere).
• Scripting/automation skills using PowerShell and/or Python.
• Experience creating advertisements, collections and packages within MECM environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Linux (RHEL) and Windows Server environments.
• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support across virtualised environments.
• Monitor, diagnose and remediate system incidents to minimise disruption.
• Collaborate with customers, network admins and technical teams to deliver reliable services.
