Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations, facilities coordination, or administration.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating facilities services.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events, including logistics, communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience using administrative or facilities systems (e.g., JIRA, RTO Manager, Safety Champion or similar platforms).
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally across teams and organisational levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High attention to detail with experience in data entry, reporting and record keeping.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate national campus maintenance schedules and contractors.
  • Support emergency preparedness and risk management.
  • Manage facilities contracts and inventory.
  • Support the planning and delivery of key national campus events.
  • Work closely with Operations and campus teams to support cross-campus initiatives.
  • Respond to facilities requests, conduct campus inspections and room audits, support events, furniture and workstation setup, and assist with staff induction.
  • Track and report on maintenance, safety, inventory and operational activities, providing regular updates to the line manager.

Job Description

The Campus Operations Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe and efficient day‑to‑day operations of a campus environment. This position supports the management of facilities, event logistics, compliance, risk management and general operational support to create a positive and functional experience for students, staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate national campus maintenance schedules and contractors, ensuring WHS, safety and building compliance.
  • Support emergency preparedness, risk management and use of Safety Champion across campuses.
  • Manage facilities contracts, inventory, consumables and support procurement decisions.
  • Support the planning and delivery of key national campus events.
  • Work closely with Operations and campus teams to support cross‑campus initiatives.
  • Respond to facilities requests, conduct campus inspections and room audits, support events, furniture and workstation setup, and assist with staff induction.
  • Track and report on maintenance, safety, inventory and operational activities, providing regular updates to the line manager.
Qualifications

About you:

  • Relevant qualification in business, facilities management, administration, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations, facilities coordination, or administration within an education, corporate, or campus‑based environment.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating facilities services and working with external contractors.
  • Proven track record of planning and executing events, including logistics, communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience using administrative or facilities systems (e.g., JIRA, RTO Manager, Safety Champion or similar platforms).
