Job summary

YMCA Victoria is offering a 2027 intake for traineeship positions across six camps. You will work alongside the programs team at our camps and complete a traineeship that allows you to work full-time while gaining your Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation.

Successful candidates are energetic, passionate about outdoor education, and committed to safeguarding children and young people, with checks required before commencement.

The Y Discovery Camps are seeking passionate individuals with an interest in outdoor education to join their intake of trainees in 2027! Work alongside the programs team at our camps, completing a traineeship that allows you to work full-time at our camps, while gaining your Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation.

Traineeship positions are available across each of our six camps, including:

While working in a fixed-term, full-time or part‑time role at one of the above camps, with pay rates determined by the age of successful applicants and level of schooling completed.

Successful candidates will be energetic individuals with a real passion and desire to work outdoors, and interested in a career in outdoor education.
