Job summary

Dream Ideas Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a Travel Consultant to consult with clients, tailor itineraries across Australia and New Zealand, and coordinate campervan and motorhome bookings, accommodation and activities. You will research destinations, prepare quotations, confirm bookings and provide clients with essential journey documentation.

The role requires strong travel planning knowledge, excellent customer service, and the ability to coordinate multiple travel components while delivering

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III/IV or 3+ years relevant experience.
• 2+ years of relevant work experience required.
• Travel consultant or closely related travel/tourism background preferred.
• Experience researching destinations and preparing personalised itineraries.
• Experience making, managing and amending travel reservations.
• Knowledge of Australian and New Zealand destinations and routes.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Consult clients to determine travel requirements and preferences.
• Research routes and prepare personalised itineraries across AU/NZ.
• Advise on campervan and motorhome options and accommodations.
• Provide destination information, travel conditions and supplier details.
• Check availability, rates and booking conditions for travel products.
• Prepare quotations and present options to clients based on budget.
• Make and confirm reservations for campervans, motorhomes, and more.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm travel arrangements.
• Advise on travel dates, licences, baggage and requirements.
• Provide visa, passport and insurance information where applicable.
• Process payments and issue itineraries, vouchers and docs.
• Review bookings with clients before departure and assist during travel.
• Manage amendments, cancellations and disruptions with clients.
• Maintain accurate client profiles and supplier records.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date on AU/NZ destinations and products.
• Maintain relationships with travel suppliers for bookings.
