Job summary

Centurion Group Ltd. seeks a reliable Camp Chef (Utility) to join a small team servicing regional campsites. The role is hands‑on and varied, involving meal preparation, cleaning, general camp support, and providing day‑to‑day guidance to other general hands.

This role would be suitable for a CDP or Commis Chef. You will prepare meals to approved menus, maintain high safety and hygiene standards, assist with cleaning and camp duties, and oversee accommodation standards while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• National Police Clearance (within 6 months) and unrestricted Australian Working Rights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals in line with approved menus and dietary requirements.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
• Assist with cleaning, food service, and general camp duties as required.
• Provide leadership and support to general hands.
• Perform relief duties and assist across camp services.
• Drive staff and transport products between sites as required.
• Oversee staff and guest accommodation standards.
