Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Sunshine Coast Convention Centre, part of the Accor network, is seeking passionate Chefs to join our culinary team across casual, part-time and full-time roles. You’ll cook for restaurant service, banquets and events, gaining experience across a large-scale resort environment.

Job Description

We're looking for passionate Chefs to join our culinary team across casual, part-time and full-time opportunities.

Whether you're looking to build your experience, take the next step in your culinary career or find a role that offers flexibility, you'll be part of a dynamic kitchen operation with plenty of opportunity to learn and grow.

You'll work alongside an experienced culinary team across our main kitchen, Sola Restaurant & Bar and our busy banqueting and events operation. With everything from à la carte dining to large-scale conferences, weddings and functions, you'll gain valuable experience across a diverse resort environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Prepare and deliver high-quality food across restaurant, banqueting and event services
• Work across a variety of menus and styles of service
• Support the delivery of conferences, weddings and large-scale events
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen and Food & Beverage teams
• Follow food safety, HACCP and WHS standards
• Assist with preparation, stock rotation and maintaining an organised kitchen
• Contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen culture

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who brings:

• Relevant culinary qualifications or previous commercial kitchen experience
• A genuine passion for food and hospitality
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Flexibility to work across a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
