You will manage inbound enquiries, assist with quotes and policy purchases, support policy servicing, and represent the ReadySet brand with professionalism and empathy at every interaction.

This role requires a balance of sales capability, compliance awareness, and genuine care for customers in a fast‑paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3+ years in call centre sales or service and/or financial services
• Insurance or travel industry experience highly regarded
• Strong understanding of regulated sales environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone, email & Live Chat
• Convert enquiries into policy sales in line with compliance obligations
• Clearly explain product benefits, limits, excesses and key exclusions
• Assist customers with completing quotes and purchases
• Manage policy amendments, cancellations and documentation requests
• Provide support relating to cover questions pre and post purchase
• Assist customers with navigating online portals
• Ensure all documentation is issued accurately and promptly
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal compliance frameworks
• Escalate complaints in line with RG 271 requirements

Role Purpose

The Call Centre Sales & Service Consultant is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while driving compliant sales outcomes.

You will manage inbound enquiries, assist customers with quotes and policy purchases, support policy servicing requests, and represent the ReadySet brand with professionalism and empathy at every interaction.

This role requires a balance of sales capability, compliance awareness, and genuine care for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound sales enquiries via phone, email & Live Chat

Convert enquiries into policy sales in line with compliance obligations

Clearly explain product benefits, limits, excesses and key exclusions

Assist customers with completing quotes and purchases

Customer Service & Policy Support

Manage policy amendments, cancellations and documentation requests

Provide support relating to cover questions pre and post purchase

Assist customers with navigating online portals

Ensure all documentation is issued accurately and promptly

Compliance & Risk Management

Adhere to ASIC regulatory requirements and internal compliance frameworks

Ensure accurate disclosure of pre-existing medical conditions

Follow sales scripts and disclosure processes

Maintain accurate file notes in CRM

Escalate complaints in line with RG 271 requirements

About You

Experience

1 to 3+ years in call centre sales or service and/or financial services
