Job summary

City of Melbourne is seeking an experienced Early Years Access & Inclusion Officer (CALD Outreach) to support CALD families in navigating kindergarten enrolments, funding options and transitions to school. You will work with families, services, schools and community organisations to boost participation in funded programs and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience working with CALD families and communities in early years or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of kindergarten enrolment processes and supports for vulnerable families.
• Ability to build partnerships with services, schools and community organisations.

Responsibilities

• Engage CALD families to identify and address barriers to accessing kindergarten and early years services.
• Build partnerships with early childhood services, schools and community organisations to improve participation.
• Support enrolment, funding options and transition to school while maintaining records and reporting.
• Deliver community outreach activities and information sessions to raise awareness of early years services.
• Maintain accurate records and data reporting to support outcomes and continuous improvement.
