Job summary

Responsibilities include preparing coffee and sandwiches, serving customers, restocking shelves, handling deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness and food safety across a busy seven-day operation.

Qualifications

• Previous cafe, deli, retail, food-preparation or customer-service experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of barista experience is an advantage.
• Friendly, confident and professional customer-service skills.
• Reliable, well presented and able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• A willingness to assist across different areas of the store.
• Availability for early mornings, weekends and public holidays, as required; the store operates seven days a week.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, drinks, sandwiches and other fresh food.
• Serve customers, take orders and process payments.
• Assist with deli products, including packing, labelling and restocking.
• Maintain attractive flower displays and assist customers with flower purchases.
• Refill shelves, fridges and displays with grocery and everyday essential items.
• Receive and unpack deliveries, rotate stock and check product quality.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety and presentation.
• Help with opening, closing and general daily store operations.
