Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic Café Attendant (Casual) to join our team at the Visitors Information Centre in Crookwell, NSW. You will deliver friendly customer service, handle cash, and prepare coffee and light meals for guests.

This casual role requires weekend availability and a flexible, team‑oriented approach in a welcoming environment with wellbeing and rostered work patterns.

Formación

• Proven service experience in a similar café/restaurant environment.
• Understanding of tools and equipment used in a café/restaurant.
• Knowledge of food preparation and storage standards.
• Ability to plan and prioritise tasks in a busy environment.
• Interpersonal skills and ability to respond to customer enquiries.
• Ability to work productively as a team.
• Understanding of Food handling.
• Experience in cash handling and POS systems.
• Available to work weekends on a staff roster.

• Monitor stock and fill according to anticipated needs.
• Operate cash register, cash handling, and balancing the till.

Upper Lachlan Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic and friendly Café Attendant's (Casual) to join our team.

We're looking for friendly, bubbly and enthusiastic Cafe Attendant's with a genuine passion for customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• Proven service experience in a similar café/restaurant environment.
• An understanding of the operation of tools and equipment commonly utilised in a café/restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation and storage standards.
• Proven ability to initiate, plan and prioritise tasks within a busy work environment.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, and respond to customer enquiries.
• Proven ability to work productively as a member of a team.
• Demonstrated understanding of Food handling.
• Demonstrated experience in cash handling and POS systems.
• Available to work weekends as part of a staff roster system.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.

As a Café Attendant, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient and effective preparation and service of food and beverages while delivering excellent customer service within the Café at the Visitors Information Centre.

What You'll Do:
