Job summary

Journey Beyond Head Office in Adelaide is seeking a Café Attendant to join our internal café team. This is not open to the public; your key customers will be Journey Beyond staff and visitors to the office.

You will take orders, make a range of coffees, welcome guests, set up and pack down the café, and help keep the workspace clean and well stocked. You will also assist in event setup and liaise with suppliers and contractors.

Qualifications

From a Café/Hospitality environment and able to make a great coffee.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

Taking orders and serving a variety of coffees and drinks.
Welcoming guests and visitors to Journey Beyond Head Office
Setting up and packing down the café
Maintaining cleanliness
Maintaining office areas ensuring they are well-stocked and tidy
Assist in event set up for board meetings and monthly mixers

About The Role

This is not your average café, as we are not open to the public, your key customers will be the coffee loving Journey Beyond team and visitors to the office.

As a Café Attendant, your key responsibilities will include:

Taking orders and serving a variety of coffees and drinks
Welcoming guests and visitors to Journey Beyond Head Office
Setting up and packing down the café
Maintaining cleanliness
Maintaining office areas ensuring they are well-stocked and tidy
Assist in event set up for board meetings and monthly mixers
Liaise with suppliers and facility contractors attending the Journey Beyond Head Office

This is a permanent part-time position. The rostered hours of work will be Monday to Thursday working 12:00pm to 5:00pm, with flexibility to also cover additional busy periods and cover leave for the other café staff is also required.

You will come from a Café/ Hospitality environment and be able to make a great coffee. We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who is truly passionate about delivering outstanding customer service and has meticulous attention to detail in all tasks. Your positive attitude will contribute to a vibrant workplace atmosphere and play a key role in our team's success.
