Virgin Active Sydney is seeking a cafe-focused team member to deliver exceptional member experiences through warm, attentive service and personal connection with guests. You’ll be part of a brand that values high standards and a 'glow' in every interaction.

As part of daily duties you will greet members, prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain quality, handle feedback and complaints, and keep the cafe sparkling.

Qualifications

This gig is all about delivering breathtaking customer service and ensuring extraordinary member satisfaction in all café interactions.

A day in the life

Welcome members and help them find whatever they need or whatever they’re looking for.

Provide heartfelt service and create personal experiences in line with our customer experience strategy and brand standards.

Prepare and serve food and beverages in line with the menu offering.

Ensure quality levels are maintained on all food and beverage items being served.

Ensure all interactions are warm, queries are answered and feedback and complaints handled effectively.

Ensure the café area is sparkling by cleaning all areas, washing dishes, changing bins, mopping the floor and wiping surfaces so they’re flawless.

Advocate safety and ensure an overall safe environment for members and team members (with specific focus on food and beverage regulatory compliance).

Find ways to give that little bit extra… especially when it’s unexpected.

You have 2+ years of relevant customer service or hospitality experience, a neat freak reputation and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule.
