Carbonis Italian Kitchen in Ballarat is seeking a friendly Delicatessen and Café Attendant to join our team. We operate across Ballarat East and Buninyong, offering authentic Italian deli and café experiences.

We have Full-Time (38 hours/week), Part-Time (24 hours/week), and Casual roles available. Join a beloved family-run business with training and growth opportunities in a dynamic, hospitality-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 1) Must be available to work weekends (rotating roster).
• 2) Part-Time requires at least 3 days a week.
• 3) Flexible hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm.
• 4) Availability Fri/Sat 4pm–9pm.
• 5) Ability to make quality coffee.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Prepare coffees, sandwiches, gelato, shakes and deli items.
• Process payments professionally.
• Maintain deli cleanliness and hygiene.
• Ensure attractive displays with rotated stock.

Are you passionate about Italian delicacies, coffees and excellent customer service? Carbonis Next Door is looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Delicatessen and Café Attendant to join our vibrant team. Located in Ballarat East and Buninyong, we bring a slice of Italy to our community through our Traditional locally made and Imported products, warm and welcoming service and atmosphere.

Position:

Full-Time (average 38 hours per week)

Part-Time (average 24 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting and serving customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Preparing coffees, sandwich, gelato, shakes items and serving deli products.
• Taking payments.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the deli areas.
• Ensuring all food displays are attractive and stock is rotated.

Requirements:

• Must be available to work weekends (3 times a month on a rotating roster).
• for Part-Time must be available at least 3 days a week.
• Must be available from 7:30am and/or until 5:30pm.
• Must be available fridays and saturdays from 4pm till 9pm
• Must be able to make quality coffee.
• Must have or be able to obtain RSA.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
