Cafe Trilogy Whitsundays in Cannonvale is looking for a friendly Cafe Allrounder to join our team on a casual basis. You will assist with food prep, customer service, and daily cafe operations to ensure smooth service.

We value reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude. RSA and Safe Food Handling certificates are preferred, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cafe, kitchen, or hospitality environment.
• Strong food preparation skills, particularly burger making and basic kitchen tasks.
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly and approachable nature.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, particularly during busy periods.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks throughout your shift.
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene principles.
• Reliability and punctuality in your work commitments.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive customer experiences.
• Have an RSA, Blue Card and Safe Food Handling certificates or will to get them.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items to quality standards.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and keep the workspace clean.
• Take customer orders and deliver friendly service at the counter.
• Manage cash transactions and use the POS system accurately.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene per health regulations.
• Restock supplies and rotate stock.

Cafe Trilogy Whitsundays is seeking a Cafe Allrounder to join our team on a casual basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment where you'll be at the heart of our cafe operations. Based in Cannonvale, QLD 4802, this role offers flexibility and variety as you contribute to delivering exceptional service and food preparation to our valued customers. As a Cafe Allrounder, you will be responsible for supporting all aspects of cafe operations, from food preparation to customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and assembling food items including sandwiches, burgers. breakfast items, and other cafe menu offerings to consistent quality standards
• Operating kitchen equipment safely and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen workspace
• Taking customer orders and providing friendly, efficient service at the counter and during busy periods
• Managing cash transactions and operating the point-of-sale system accurately
• Maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations
• Restocking supplies, checking inventory, and assisting with stock rotation
• Supporting the cafe team during peak service times and special events
• Cleaning and maintaining all areas of the cafe to ensure a welcoming environment
• Responding positively to customer queries and handling complaints professionally
