Texco Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated Cadet to join the Project Delivery team in Alexandria, NSW. The program offers hands-on industry experience while you study Construction Management or a related discipline.
As a Cadet, you will work with Project Managers and Contract Administrators across procurement, subcontract administration, cost tracking and project reporting, gaining real-world exposure to large-scale industrial projects and ongoing professional development.
At Texco, we take great pride in our contribution to Australia's industrial property landscape. We believe in rewarding hard work, nurturing relationships, and fostering innovative thinking within a collaborative workplace and project environment.
We are proud to have attracted some of the best talent in the industry and are continuously seeking individuals who share our passion for industrial and commercial construction, thrive on challenges, and are motivated to learn and grow within a high-performing team.
As our NSW project portfolio continues to expand, we are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Cadet to join our growing Project Delivery team in Alexandria.
Ideally suited to a second-year university student studying Construction Management or a related discipline, this opportunity offers hands‑on industry experience alongside your studies, exposure to large-scale industrial construction projects and the support of experienced professionals who are invested in your development.
As a Cadet, you'll work closely with our Project Managers and Contract Administrators, gaining practical experience across the commercial and operational aspects of delivering industrial construction projects.
From procurement and subcontract administration through to cost management, forecasting and project reporting, you'll develop an understanding of the construction lifecycle and the responsibilities involved in successfully delivering a project.
This is an opportunity to apply your university studies in a practical environment, build your technical capability and establish a strong foundation for a long‑term career in Contract Administration and Project Management.
You'll be someone who is curious, motivated and genuinely interested in building a career in construction. You enjoy working collaboratively, aren't afraid to ask questions and are willing to step outside your comfort zone to learn something new.
We don't expect you to know everything. What matters most is your attitude, willingness to learn and ability to take initiative as you develop your skills and confidence.
Previous construction industry experience is advantageous but not essential. We're more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, a strong work ethic and the ambition to develop a successful career in construction.
We have a vibrant, inclusive team culture, and that is all down to the people who work with us: a team of talented, like‑minded, self‑starters who are intellectually curious and passionate about the work they do.
At Texco, we recognise the importance of investing in emerging talent and creating meaningful opportunities for the next generation of construction professionals.
As a Cadet, you'll be supported by experienced industry professionals, encouraged to contribute ideas and provided with opportunities to progressively take on greater responsibility as your skills develop.
