Job summary

Spiire is seeking an experienced CAD Systems Specialist to join the Technology & Transformation team in Melbourne. You will support and improve Spiire’s CAD environments, ensuring standards, templates and workflows are aligned across practices, while advising IT on CAD-related systems enhancements.

You will lead CAD standards, provide technical leadership to users, mentor designers, and collaborate with Digital Engineering and project leaders to implement new technologies and processes.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of CAD systems, digital engineering workflows and drafting standards.
• Strong capability in developing and maintaining CAD standards, templates, libraries, menus and design tools.
• Experience improving CAD environments through system enhancements, automation or workflow optimisation.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to support multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative leadership with mentoring experience for technical users.

Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously improve Spiire’s CAD standards, workflows and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and support to CAD users across the business.
• Mentor, coach and develop designers and technical staff.
• Drive consistency, quality assurance and continuous improvement across project delivery.
• Work with Digital Engineering and project leaders to implement new technologies and processes.
• Coordinate CAD systems, templates and documentation.
