Job summary

Local Workforce Hire is seeking a Caboolture-based Construction Assistant for casual, ongoing work with immediate start. Earn $35.11 per hour plus 11.5% super and a $22 daily travel allowance, with typical weekly earnings around $1,400+.

The role involves assisting trades on commercial and residential projects, site preparation, material handling, and general labouring across construction, landscaping, warehousing and shopfitting sites.

Qualifications

What You'll Be Doing

Every day is different, with opportunities to work across a variety of industries including:

• Commercial and residential landscaping
• Residential and commercial construction
• Warehouse fit-outs and pallet racking installations
• Shopfitting and carpentry projects
• Demolition and strip-out work
• General labouring across manufacturing and industrial sites
• Site clean-ups and final cleans

Typical tasks include:

• Site preparation and clean-up
• Wheelbarrowing materials
• Digging and trenching
• Lifting and carrying materials
• Packing and stacking
• Assisting qualified tradespeople
• General labouring duties as required

What We're Looking For
