Job summary

Precise Precut on the Gold Coast is seeking a Trade Assistant with cabinetmaking experience to join our workshop. You will support cabinetmakers, cut materials on the panel saw, and assist with edge finishing and drilling tasks. This is indoor work in a well-equipped facility.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a positive attitude. Overtime may be required during busy periods, with half-day Fridays finishing at 12:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Qualified Cabinetmaker preferred.
• Trade assistant with cabinetmaking experience minimum.
• Strong hand edging skills.
• Panel Saw experience, must be safe.
• Team player and good attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standard of finish.
• Keep work area clean.
• Cut on panel saw when required.
• Drill 2pac Doors on DrillTeq CNC.
• Overtime when busy.
• Half Day Friday's (finish 12.30pm).
• Indoor work away from elements.

We are a Cabinetmaking Supply company located on the Gold Coast QLD. Established in 2006, we manufacture flat pack cabinets for trade only customers. We have an impressive workshop with all the latest technology to a produce high quality products for all the businesses that we supply throughout SEQ and Northern Rivers.

Qualifications & experience

Qualified Cabinetmaker preferred

Trade Assistant with Cabinetmaking experience as minimum

Strong hand edging skills

Panel Saw experience (must be safe)

Work in a team environment

Work well with other staff members

Must have the right attitude
