Job summary

Kaiman Cabinets in Queensland is seeking a reliable and motivated Machinist to operate CNC machinery, beam saws, and edgebanders to support high-quality cabinetry.

Full training will be provided; the role offers a stable full-time position, Monday-Thursday 6:00am-2:00pm and Friday 6:00am-12:00pm, with a collaborative team and safe, clean production environment.

Job description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Machinist to join our cabinet making factory. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, beam saws, and edgebanders to support the production of high-quality cabinetry and joinery products.

Previous experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC machinery, beam saws, and edgebanders.
• Follow production schedules and work instructions.
• Ensure products are manufactured accurately and to quality standards.
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machinery and report maintenance requirements.
• Assist with general factory duties as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including daily cleaning.
• Work effectively within a team to meet production deadlines.

Skills & Experience

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Advantageous

• Experience operating CNC machinery, beam saws, and/or edgebanders.
• Experience within the cabinet making, joinery, or manufacturing industry.
• Forklift Licence an advantage.

Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 6:00am - 2:00pm
• Friday: 6:00am - 12:00pm
