Qualifications

• Qualified Cabinet Maker / Joiner or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and work from detailed shop drawings.
• Driver’s licence required; car licence advantageous for truck driving tasks.

• Cabinet and joinery construction in the factory.
• Operate and maintain woodworking machinery, including SCM CNC router.
• Site installations.
• Solid timber and custom joinery work (training provided if required).

About Us

Mavben is a family-owned construction and joinery business with a strong focus on in-house custom joinery. We deliver complete joinery packages for builders, custom residential clients, commercial projects.

Our work includes custom curved cabinetry and solid timber joinery such as benchtops, doors, and windows. We utilise Microvellum software, supported by a full-time draftsman who produces detailed shop drawings for the factory. With steady growth, we’re looking to add an experienced Cabinet Maker to our team.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified or highly experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our fully fitted joinery factory in Pakenham. This role involves both factory work and site installations and will suit someone who enjoys custom work and delivering high-quality finishes.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm
Optional overtime available

Key Responsibilities

• Cabinet and joinery construction in the factory
• Operating and maintaining woodworking machinery, including SCM CNC router
• Site installations
• Solid timber and custom joinery work (training provided if required)

Skills & Experience

• Qualified Cabinet Maker / Joiner or equivalent experience
• Comfortable with custom and curved joinery work
• Ability to read and work from detailed shop drawings
• Driver’s licence required
• Truck driving experience (car licence only) is an advantage
