Job summary

Reds Joinery, based in Mareeba, is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker Installer or Subcontractor to join our growing team. You will install commercial cabinetry and joinery on-site across projects in the Mareeba region, delivering high-quality results and maintaining strong relationships with builders and clients.

Ideal candidates have cabinetmaking and on-site joinery experience, read plans confidently, hold a White Card and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial cabinetry, counters, reception desks, workstations, wall panelling and other custom joinery
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and installation details
• Measure, set out, level and fit cabinetry accurately
• Install panels, benchtops, hardware, kickboards, fillers and finishing components
• Complete adjustments and finishing work to achieve a professional result
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe worksite
• Coordinate with builders, site managers, trades and other contractors
• Identify and resolve installation issues with a practical, solutions-focused approach
• Protect materials, finished surfaces and client properties
• Complete work efficiently and meet project deadlines

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cabinet Installer / Joiner to join our team and help deliver quality projects across commercial spaces.

About the role

You will be responsible for installing commercial cabinetry and joinery on-site, ensuring every project is completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard. Working alongside our experienced team, you will play an important role in delivering quality results and maintaining strong relationships with builders, contractors and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial cabinetry, counters, reception desks, workstations, wall panelling and other custom joinery

• Read and interpret plans, drawings and installation details

• Measure, set out, level and fit cabinetry accurately

• Holds a White Card and understands on-site safety requirements.
