Job summary

Xzibit in Yatala (QLD) is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Shopfitter to join our production team. You will build high-end bespoke displays and cabinetry from start to finish, with most time spent in the workshop and occasional travel for installations.

Your day-to-day includes reading plans, assembling, cutting, laminating, finishing, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. The role offers immediate start and full-time permanent employment with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Cabinet Maker or Shopfitter.
• Certificate III in Cabinet Making or Shopfitting required.
• QLD White Card and current Australian driver's licence.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and shop drawings accurately.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and finish.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally interstate for installations.
• Permanent Australian resident.

About the Role

You'll be joining our Production Team at our Yatala workshop to build high-quality custom displays and exhibition stands from start to finish. The bulk of your time is in the workshop — fabricating, finishing, and getting it right — with occasional travel to sites for installation.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years experience as a Cabinet Maker or Shopfitter — essential
• Certificate III in Cabinet Making or Shopfitting
• QLD White Card and current Australian driver's licence

• Someone who follows process and takes ownership of their work
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
