Rescom Joinery in Helensvale, QLD, is seeking a talented Cabinet Maker to join our workshop on a full-time basis. You will fabricate and install high-quality cabinetry, interpret drawings, and maintain a safe, efficient workspace.

Day and/or afternoon shifts available in a dynamic workshop setting. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in cabinet making or joinery, strong experience with table saws, planers, routers and sanders, and a commitment to craftsmanship.

Formación

• Minimum 3+ years as Cabinet Maker or Joinery specialist.
• Proficient with timberworking machinery and safe operation.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in workshop.
• Physically fit to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling.

Rescom Joinery is seeking a talented and experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team on a full-time basis in Helensvale, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your craftsmanship and technical expertise in a dynamic workshop environment where quality and precision are paramount. You will play a crucial role in the creation and assembly of cabinetry and joinery pieces, contributing directly to the reputation and success of our business.

We are seeking people available to work day and/or afternoon shift.

Key responsibilities

• Fabricate, construct and assemble high-quality cabinets and bespoke joinery pieces according to specifications and drawings
• Operate and maintain specialised woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints and design specifications to ensure accuracy and quality of finished products
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
• Perform routine maintenance and care of workshop equipment and tools
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and production methods

What are looking for

• Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or Joinery specialist, ideally with 3+ years in the industry
• Advanced proficiency in operating woodworking machinery such as table saws, planers, routers and sanders
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints and specifications accurately
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to precision and quality craftsmanship
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements specific to workshop and machinery operation
• Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift materials and stand for extended periods
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry, joinery or cabinet making (preferred)
