Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in Queensland is seeking an experienced Qualified Cabinet Maker to join its production team, creating custom cabinetry for residential and commercial projects using modern equipment and established processes.

You will apply your hands-on trades skills in a structured Australian workplace, honing expertise across a broad range of bespoke cabinetry while maintaining strict quality and timelines.

Qualifications

Recognised Cabinet Making trade qualification or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
Proven experience in custom cabinetry manufacturing.
Experience working across residential and commercial joinery projects.
Hands-on experience operating CNC machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical and production drawings.
Strong knowledge of cabinet manufacturing and assembly processes.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Consistent focus on quality workmanship.
Reliable and professional approach to work.
Ability to work effectively within a manufacturing team.
Experience with high-end residential or commercial joinery will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Manufacture custom kitchens, laundries, wardrobes and cabinetry.
Produce cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects.
Interpret technical drawings, plans and production specifications.
Setup and operate CNC routers and associated equipment.
Operate panel saws, beamsaws and edge banding machinery.
Measure, cut and process materials accurately.
Assemble finished cabinetry and joinery components.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and finishing.
Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality.
Identify and address production issues where required.
Assist with installation activities when required.
Follow established manufacturing and quality procedures.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Work efficiently with production and installation team members.
Meet project specifications and production deadlines.
