Job summary

Azooa is seeking a Level 3 Systems Engineer to join a small Army Headquarters project team in Canberra. You will help shape the communications capabilities that support Army command and control.

The role involves defining capability scope and system requirements with CASG, and developing key Defence documents. The position requires eight years plus of systems engineering experience, strong familiarity with Defence lifecycle documentation, and proven agile delivery.

Qualifications

• Systems engineering qualifications and at least eight years’ experience.
• Experience producing Defence Capability Life Cycle documentation.
• A good understanding of the One Defence Capability System.
• Experience delivering in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and refine capability scope, operational concepts and system requirements with CASG.
• Develop capability documentation, including Operational Concept Documents, User Need Statements, Test Plans and the Test and Evaluation Master Plan.
• Plan requirements-setting and risk reduction activities, supporting Government First Pass and Second Pass consideration.
• Support integration planning, tender evaluation, risk management, cost estimation and integrated logistic support planning.
• Engage with ADF, APS, CASG, DSTG, Land Network Integration Centre and other engineering stakeholders.
• Translate emerging concepts of employment into future C4 requirements and contribute to Land C4 program artefacts.

Minimum NV1 security clearance required and maintained throughout the contract

Your contribution

What you’ll bring
